Justice – ON’N'ON … Trippy!

We apologize to you all for not having posted anything in a long time, but we are on vacation after a maddening New Year’s Eve. We weren’t planning on posting anything , due to our F*ck the internet vaca, but we came across Justice’s new video for “On’N'On” and couldn’t let this one get away.  It’s a very Pink Floyd, space odyssey-esque video, trippy to say the least. Adam Tensta “SCARED OF THE DARK” NOMINATED FOR A SWEDISH GRAMMY!

The award ceremony for the swedish Grammy will be on february 14th, 2012, at Kungliga Operan in Stockholm, Sweden.
Congratulations Adam!

Grammy is Sweden’s oldest and largest music prize. The purpose of the annual awards ceremony is to recognize and reward the artists, musician and creative people who accomplished great works in various musical fields over the year.

The Street Aesthetic of New York City

This video reminds us of why we LOVE New York so much! Director Christian Andersen does such a great job catching the imagery and life of NYC with this piece, we can almost smell the summer, city streets!

 

Andersen’s Description:
I had a chance to go visit one of the greatest cities this summer. Right when I got of the plane and arrived downtown New York, I took my camera and strolled out through the busy streets of New York City. I wanted to capture the great culture and street aesthetic of New York and I think it turned out really well. The video includes recordings from both Manhattan and Brooklyn, where I spend hours capturing the culture and everyday life of native New Yorkers.

Adam Tensta performance for a Great Cause

Adam performed at Musikhjälpen x-musikhjalpen. He performed with the song “Shit to do” and “For last”.Adam donated a “festival” for the one that bids the most for it. That person and a friend win a festival trip with Adam this coming summer, with backstage passes and everything. The goal is to help the more than 100 million girls that aren’t (for different reasons) able to go to school and get an education, even though it’s stated in the UN human rights. Donate to the cause and you will make a difference. Every girl has the right to stay in school

Swedish House Mafia “Save The World” (Cazzette Bootleg)

We recently had a special guest DJ Psar spin at our Boy Meets Girl Event at Hudson Hotel December 2, 2011. Not only did he play a flawless set, but he busted out this gem of a remix and had the crowd just look over in awe when the dubstep drop kicked in, followed by jumping up and down making the illuminated floor shake as though it was going to shatter. Catch DJ Psar in Belgium where he’s from. He’s part of the MP Family, Stromae‘s team.  Enjoy the tune.

‘Brightside’ – The Knocks

We’d like to say a VERY BIG thank you to B-Roc & Mr. J Patt aka The Knocks for not only making an amazing dance track, but a side busting hilarious video. When The Knocks previewed this track at the Ragier party, Saturday Nov 5th at Open House (their residency. Houston bet ave A & B, NYC) we thought the floor was going to give way, people were jumping up and down so hard.  When we saw this video at the Socialight Entertainment offices we had to close our doors, so not to disturb our neighbors, we were laughing so hard.
