McNair, 36, played 13 seasons in the National Football League, mostly with the Tennessee Titans, whom he led to the Super Bowl in 1999 where they lost to the St. Louis Rams. He was named the League’s co-MVP following the 2003 season. McNair ended his career with the Baltimore Ravens and retired after the 2007 season. The media reports said a female body was also found. The Nashville Police Department had no comment but said a statement on McNair would be issued.

Here’s a link to a story in the Tennessean, which is reporting that McNair and Sahel Kazemi, a young woman that he’d been dating, were both found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in a downtown condo.
