Nike Sportswear The Ones: “Street Etiquette.”
Posted in Art, design, Fashion with tags chad gittens, chaddy chads, Nike, sam eliad, Sportswear, Street Etiquette, The Ones, we are not pilgrims on August 9, 2011 by SOCIALIGHT Entertainment“The Ones,” an original web series presented by the Air Force One, profiles creative individuals who are revolutionizing their respective fields and explores what makes them special. The latest installment turns the lens on Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs, the two young men from the Bronx behind the men’s lifestyle blog “Street Etiquette.” Founded in 2008, the site approaches personal style from an urban perspective—an aesthetic seen in the vibrant photos of young men wearing suspenders, bowties and vintage couture around New York City. Find out what makes these remarkable and influential individuals tick in this edition of “The Ones.” And here’s a helpful hint from Joshua: “I think the cool guy is the guy that’s just himself.”

Krozm the Creative Geniuses Behind the Miami Horror “Holidays” Video
Posted in Art, design, Film, Music with tags directors, krozm, melbourne, miami horror, VIDEO on January 13, 2011 by SOCIALIGHT EntertainmentWe came across their website after reading a tweet by Cut Copy. Not only are we huge fans of both Cut Copy and Miami Horror, but we’ve been mesmerized by their music videos. The “Holidays” video incorporates beautiful cinematography in the romantic road trip story. The tentacles (or whatever those things are on his face) are a perfect little visual twist for the video. THANK YOU KROZM for being different, and amazing in the process!
Krozm is directing duo Chris Hill and Lachlan Dickie. The Krozm collective emerged from the summer of 2005 when Chris and Lachlan whilst still under the wing of a fine arts degree, teamed up to create their first music videos.
These early works for bands such as Midnight Juggernauts, Damn Arms and Cut Copy soon helped establish a creative principle that is now casually known as ‘The Krozm’.
Much like sea creatures have evolved into amphibious land dwellers, Chris and Lachlan’s work together has continued to mutate with each new project.
