‘Brightside’ – The Knocks

We’d like to say a VERY BIG thank you to B-Roc & Mr. J Patt aka The Knocks for not only making an amazing dance track, but a side busting hilarious video. When The Knocks previewed this track at the Ragier party, Saturday Nov 5th at Open House (their residency. Houston bet ave A & B, NYC) we thought the floor was going to give way, people were jumping up and down so hard.  When we saw this video at the Socialight Entertainment offices we had to close our doors, so not to disturb our neighbors, we were laughing so hard. The lead character, Jesse Walsh, distraught by his parents’ inability to relate to his teenage angst, decides to take out some of his frustrations by cleaning his room. To help the process, he pops in a cassette that makes him move uncontrollably. This recording has not been heard since that fateful day on Elm Street…. UNTIL NOW!
